This film provoked only my gag reflex. I cannot imagine what Goodman and Leo saw in this script that engaged their interest. Certainly the initial concept suggested potential satire and social criticism but it fell far start of being intelligent or acerbic or insightful.
The jump cut to the inquiry was creatively cheap and the reveal was wincingly vapid. I was hoping for a lot and wound up wishing it had never been made.
