Review of Red Sparrow (2018) by Cands — 03 Mar 2018
This is an R rated film, but in fact it should be X rated! To say that the director went too far would be an under statement. Scenes of violence, explicit sex and sex crimes have left me feeling violated! My husband and I went to watch the movie for our date night last night, expecting an exciting action thriller.
Instead we were met with an indecent pornographic film. At one point I really wanted to leave the cinema, but the cinema was packed and I didn't want to cause a scene. If this is the type of movie we have resorted to calling entertainment, then I am deeply saddened for humanity.
Anyone with any sense of decency will simply find this movie a violation of all that they are.
