Review of Red Road (2006) by Cody O — 12 Jul 2007
This is a good movie overall because it is different than most films. The tension builds (although VERY slowly and sometimes painfully so) for 2/3rds of the movie and then things get interesting. This movie has one of the most explicit sex scenes I've ever seen in a movie but it didn't seem gratuitous, just startlingly real and edgy.
Finally an erotic scene that really seems charged with true emotions, not the way Hollywood shows every love scene. Although this movie is not for every one I enjoyed aspects of the film enough to give it 3 stars.
