An impressive debut from filmmaker Andrea Arnold. Praised at Sundance and Cannes this is an understated thriller (oxymoron but true enough) about a woman obsessed with a man she watches on cctv camera in Glasgow.
Sparse, dark and beautifully shot, the acting is top notch as well. I look forward to her next film.
