Review of Red Road (2006) by Jason M — 03 Jan 2008
Suitably brutal, disturbing and uncompromising in its approach and execution, Red Road is a bare bones psychological thriller. Effectively a modern remake of Rear Window, but with a significant twist in that this film is set in Glasgow.
The city is a character in itself, demanding presence on screen and oozing out of every character's pore.
