Incredibly slow... very little actually happens in this film, although there is a sinister tension building up oh so slowly throughout the film. As a previous reviewer stated, the sex scenes really are most unsettling - the most explicit I've seen in a BBC film.

I struggled a little with deciphering the Glaswegian accents at times, but as so little actually happened, and few words were spoken, it didn't hinder my understanding of the film in any way.
