Review of Red Road (2006) by Pavandeep S — 28 Mar 2008
A brutal and disturbing revenge tale where everything bursts with intensity difficult to interpret. The quirky metaphors are what strike me heavily, when she smiles and the one with the dog, also, this unique tale of revenge and redemption is really in my opinion genius, its brutal story-telling aids the minimalist use of actions and drama.
Also, the use of non-diegetic music is very noticeable too, making this very disconcerting and it is disconcerting to view.
