Review of Red Road (2006) by Dave B — 08 May 2008
Both intelligent and absorbing, Red Road deals with obsession, revenge and the pain of a victim. Kate Dickie's central performance is natural and emotionally finely tuned. As mentioned by other reviewers, the style is Dogme like, so not a feast for the eyes, but you do get a great sense of time and place.
Definitely worth watching.
