Disappointingly over-rated western, though there are good performances by Montgomery Clift and John Wayne. It starts out pretty good but takes a weird turn when the cattle drive comes to the aid of an encircled wagon train surrounded by injuns.
There, they find a woman who ruins the rest of the picture.
