Simply outstanding. A momument of the western genre.
When John Ford, the director who hired John Wayne to play in many of his westerns, saw this film, he noted Wayne's great performance by saying: "I didn't know the big sonuva bitch could act!" If you're considering getting into the western genre, this is a film you must add to your list of must-sees.
