Review of Red River (1948) by Themumblelover . — 02 Sep 2014
Masochism against sensitivity and individualism , great commanding performances from John Wayne and screen debut from Clift. Hawks masterful direction has interwoven dramatic action with some great little comedy, a great film that has to be one of the great westerns.
