A retelling of the classic Grim Brothers' tale of the girl and the wolf. Amanda Seyfried is surprisingly phenomenal in the lead role, but the rest of the cast is uninspiring and below average. The film, overall, falls below expectations due to poor dialogue and a failed aura of suspense.
The mystery is supposed to be the main concept of the film and would have benefited from a director like Wes Craven. The scenery is done well and the music is fitting, but doesn't save what is a film that just doesn't get the job done.
