Review of Red Riding Hood (2011) by Jimmy F — 07 Dec 2011
Do you like scary movies? How about a love story? And I know everyone loves a good mystery. There is one movie that fits all of these genres, red Riding Hood. Red Riding Hood is based on the children's story that tells about a little girl who encounters a wolf on the way to her grandmothers house. This movie embraces that same concept, but puts an unusual twist on it. This version of the nursery rhyme, is told through Valerie, a girl who lives in a mid-evil village, where a wolf torments them. When the wolf says he's coming for Valerie, the whole town turns on her; and on top of worrying about that, she has to choose between Henry, the boy her parents had arranged for her to marry, and Peter, her true love. This movie had me on the edge of my seat the whole time, between trying to discover who the wolf is, and trying to decide which boy I liked better, I was fully entertained. Red Riding Hood is an amazing movie, you won't regret watching it! Five pitchforks!
