Review of Red Planet (2000) by Adrian A — 17 May 2008
This is a Speculative Science movie rather than Science Fiction, because everything in it's script is plausable.
The special effects are excellent and the sets are beautifully designed (even the score is wonderful) but above all, the merit of this movie is that it is character driven.
Red Planet is completely believable and totally gripping.
I picked it up in a bargain bin for £2.99, but it is worth oh so much more! Loved it!
