Review of Red Planet (2000) by Chris M — 22 Jul 2008

Interesting cast in a failed sci-fi / suspense attempt that looked great on paper.. I saw a lot of stuff from the old 'Outer Limits' tv show, and some early scenes from 'Alien' and 'Aliens'.

The cast does save this one from being much worse, especially Terrence Stamp and Val Kilmer! Carrie-Anne Moss is ok, but repeats a lot of scenes from the 'Matrix' movies when she is inside the spaceship talking to the rest of the crew.

But, it was funny to see Tom Sizemore partying up in space! Much better than De Palma's 'Mission to Mars'.
