Review of Red Lights (2012) by Ws W — 24 Aug 2012
Red Lights starts off promisingly enough with great mood, build up and characterization in the first act. However, at about the 40 minute mark the movie just falls flat in story telling and it of course employs the overly used plot twist for the ending.
De Niro should stay away from horror/thriller films. Definitely not his forte. Remember Godsend? Hide and Seek? That being said, I really enjoyed Rodrigo Cortes' first film, 'Buried', with Ryan Reynolds, but this one was a foul ball.
