"FINDING OUT THE TRUTH ON THE SUPERNATURAL".

- 'Red Lights' is a 2012 supernatural thriller by director Rodrigo Cortés (Buried). The films begins very promising with two investigators who are specialized in debunking supernatural phenomena, but along the ride I kind of lost interest. The conclusion is utterly disappointing. Too bad, because it had the talented acting skills of Cillian Murphy (28 Days Later, Inception), Sigourney Weaver (Alien, The Village), Robert DeNiro (Meet the Parents trilogy, The Godfather) and Toby Jones (The Hunger Games, The Mist).

Paranormal researchers Margaret Matheson (Weaver) and Tom Buckley (Murphy) investigate and unravel every paranormal phenomena as a hoax. With the term 'Red Lights', Matheson can explain how people use simple, but clever tricks, to earn money from their believing victims. But when blind psychic Simon Silver (DeNiro) makes a comeback after more than 30 years, Matheson warns her younger associate not to investigate him. Buckley of course doesn't listen and begins to get obsessed with Silver determined to bring him down as a fraud...
