Review of Red Hill (2010) by Anna B — 06 Dec 2010
Really disappointing, I was expecting a tight thriller ala No Country for Old Men, instead I got a mish-mash of spaghetti western and bad '80s revenge exploitation. Actually that's what it felt like, a bad exploitation straight out of a grindhouse.
I'm sure Tarantino will love it. It was also annoying to see Greg McLean sticking his nose in because he wanted to make a movie about a panther but couldn't write a full script so he shoved it into an unrelated film.
Lame. Although the CGI is pretty good.
