Review of Red Hill (2010) by Elisa G — 21 Nov 2010
This Australian flick attempts to mix suspense/thriller, action, western, and (a little bit of) supernatural elements, but was it successful? I'm afraid it came up short. The visual is gorgeous and the movie is very picturesque but the film suffers from EVERY pitfalls and cliches of the genre that it mashes in.
In the end I wish it could've had a better/more capable director.
