Review of Red Heat (1988) by Frank J — 23 Jul 2006
A fun buddy cop actioner. It's not Lethal Weapon or anything like that but it's still gotta lotta kick and plenty of action to satisfy the average fan of the genre. I like how director Walter Hill didn't overly swamp the beginning in action and simply let the story unfold and explain itself.
Funny performances from Schwarzenegger and Belushi as two cops from different countries and ways of discipline. I love the Russian accent Arnold put on. So all in all it's worth a look especially for a Schwarzenegger fanatic (such as myself).
