Review of Red Eye (2005) by Jelizaveta S — 26 Sep 2010
Breathtaking action thriller, the plan of the villains is perfect, but seems they have chosen the wrong girl for it. Lisa is such a hard-working girl that at the Lux Atlantic in Miami nothing goes right without her. She has a big experience background in solving all sorts of problems, as the clients of the hotel are really annoying with their high demands. The high demands of charming Jackson Rippner do not bother her at all, if she looks nervous and scared it is because she is afraid of flying, she proves herself to be brave and capable to protect herself, her family and job position.
Well done workaholic! The sad thing is that when she has a chance to phone somebody, the number she dials first is not her father's. Too sad that she visited him only to safe his life and then she goes back to the workplace.
Music in this film is a great companion to all stress situations in this film.
The character of Jackson Rippner is great, he is so attractive first and then his captivating nature turns up to be a key to kidnapping. In the end of the film he looks very stylish with the woman's scarf and his voice made me feel creepy all over.
