Review of Red Dragon (2002) by Nikos A — 17 Jul 2010
Great cast, norton, hoffman, keitel, hopkins....unfortunately they don't have much to do, the narrative reverts back to the "silence of the lambs" formula which, though it worked brilliantly, is getting tired because this film adds nothing to it in fact misses the profound chemistry and ideas of the former feeling like a recycled hollywood remake, which it is.
"Manhunter" was much more gripping, even if it lacked Hopkins' trademark performance. And I have to give more credit to "hannibal" for being more original and eerie.
