Review of Red Dragon (2002) by Chad D — 12 Jul 2013
Great acting throughout paves the way for Red Dragon to continue the success and brilliance of the Hannibal Lector series. All the acting (especially from Fiennes) is fantastic making an average script seem better than it is.
Action, twists, suspense, and horror combine to make Red Dragon what it is, but moving the terror away from Hannibal Lector and more towards Fiennes provided a good amount of spark to push Red Dragon above Hannibal or Hannibal Rising as the superior addition to Silence of the Lambs.
