Review of Red Dragon (1965) by Ryan J — 02 Apr 2010
A remake of the successful film Manhunter. It takes us back to when Hannibal Lector was captured and the hunt for another serial killer is taking priority. Hopkins is back in the role that made him famous and is at his diabolical best as Lector.
You relish every moment he is on the screen. As for Norton, he does well as the detective once played by William Peterson. Fiennes is also on good form as the killer. I liked the thrilling set pieces and the finale was equally as good.
