Review of Red Dragon (1965) by Raynormanbateman . — 09 Feb 2010
Very enjoyable. I remember loving this film the first time I saw it back in 2002 but at that time the hype over Edward Norton overshadowed all my ratings for his films. With that said, I still like this film a lot although the villain reminds me of a cheaper version of Norman Bate at some parts but Fiennes can play bad guys well and we all know that by now.
Anthony Hopkins is still as menacing as ever as Dr. Lecter and in general there was an impressive cast with such actors as Harvey Keitel and Philip Seymour Hoffman. Thoroughly enjoyable.
