Review of Red Dragon (1965) by Michael C — 06 Mar 2011

Silence of the Lambs is a diamond no question and to me Red Dragon may not be as good as SOTL but, to me its an Emerald because to me Hopkins is scarier in this movie, the creepy chemistry between Norton and Hopkins is great, especally to the fact that Hopkins tried to kill Norton and is still trying even in his cell he wants Norton dead not to mention the case revolving around the Red Dragon character and his life as well! Every character has their place, the atmosphere is in the air , and it does what it tries to do.

My only probelm with it is round the ending. Novel vs Movie, I like the movie better but the novel ending was much better then the movie ending in my opinion.
