Review of Red Dragon (1965) by Mark N — 23 Mar 2012
Fiennes plays creepy loner once more and owns the demented character of Dolarhyde. Watson never over steps her character's bounds and is a delight as always. Ratner shows a directorial flare and subtlety I would never have given him credit for (or sadly since) with some superb visuals and setups to make a tense moody thriller.
Highly recommended and fun to watch between viewings of Manhunter and Silence of the Lambs.
