Review of Red Dragon (1965) by Matt M — 31 Oct 2013
Prequel to Silence of the Lambs, in this one cannibal and criminal genius Hannibal helps an FBI agent with psychological gifts look for a mysterious serial killer named 'The Tooth Fairy'. While there is no doubt that the film is well made and the performances are quite good, especially Hopkins in his return as the famous evil man, but the Red Dragon feels much too structured and lacking in any true surprising or even shocking moments.
