Review of Red Dirt (2000) by Jeremy P — 01 Jul 2007
An interesting indie film about repressed love and desire, family bonds and secrets and the deep south. For a small independent film the cinematography and score are amazing. Some of the performances from the cast are wonderful (actor Walt Goggins who plays Lee Todd is terrific) but some are a bit overly dramatic (Karen Black anyone?).
By no means is this a great film (it could have been) but I would recommend it for at least a rental viewing.
