Review of Red Dawn (2012) by Milton D — 16 May 2013
This isn't the type of movie I like to watch, but it turned out to be slightly more better than what I initially thought. The plot was kind of ridiculous at first, it seemed very unreal and just happened without a reasonable explanation.
I felt as if I was watching some sort of tv show by the way it was settled and how actually the story progressed so little. The positive thing about it was the action, it was very cool and over the top.
It was more than I expected from a PG-13 movie. The acting was average, while some of the characters were really easy to hate on which made it not very pleasant to watch at times. Nevertheless, it was an interesting movie, that sadly tried to resolve its major plot problem in a very simple way, while still giving an open ending which resolved in a more apt ending.
