Review of Red Dawn (2012) by Gaspar O — 05 May 2013
One of the critic reviews calls this "a Tea Party wet dream that offers a scathing (if completely illogical) indictment of the federal government". Well, I hadn't really thought of it that way because I usually only seek fun from a movie, but I'd have to agree with that assessment.
I just thought it was really stupid with some good killin' and some fair battle scenes. I went in wanting to like it, and if I keep it at a very basic level without the political commentary, it was OK, but not great.
Extra half star because I like yelling Wolverines to piss off my wife.
