Surprised me abundantly. Now its not THAT good, but "Red Dawn" starts out very interesting with strong character development that I was shocked to see. Although, it seemed to have a lot in common with the original, I don't think a lot of people remember that much from the original, as it wasn't that good.
But this 2012 modern version is a lot more provocative with showcasing its story, and fundamentally the acting is much better.
