This wasn't as bad as I thought it would be, but type of flick worked in the 80s and the original is a classic. Here we have the Russians (kind of) replaced by the North Koreans who invade America via a city in Washington state.
It is up to the local high school kids to fight back guerilla style. I actually sided with Kim Jong Il's men. They pitched a pretty good reason for the invasion. Wall Street greed, capitalism and the neglect of the poor.
At the end of the day this is just another pointless remake.
