Review of Red Dawn (2012) by Jesse B — 22 Mar 2014
Red Dawn is a remake of a movie with the same name and is completely the same in every aspect except in the original it's Russia invading America instead of North Korea...and it's tenfold better than its predecessor.
Although the dialogue is terrible and the acting isn't much better than that, Red Dawn is highly entertaining and quite scary in the sense that this could actually happen - and soon. I'm not saying it will but it is possible.
Anyways, the special effects are killer and the soundtrack isn't bad at all, but it's too main stream for a movie of its caliber. Could've been written and directed much better but nonetheless it's a good family time film.
