Wow, this movie does not hold up over time. Set in the 80s after south american communist troops invade america, a group of young kids fight guerrilla style for many months to re-take their town. Sure it has some great cinematography, and occasionally a good battle scene (although the amount of explosions gets jarring). Patrick Swayze is his usual way over the top self, and the rest of the actors are basically in the film as background characters. Some of the dialogue is laughable. Somehow, it reminded me of what insurgents in afghanistan are going through. The film's plot jumps around all the way to the finish.

Definitely cheeseball.
