Review of Red Dawn (1984) by Clay K — 26 Jun 2008
I take pride in being American - and in all things that being a great American is about. A bit of a far-fetched idea, you know, since nobody's ever heard of the Cuban Communist forces having an army great enough to invade the U.
S., but the theme of the Wolverines beating back the imperialist commie forces (please, look at how the Russians have been pushing for worldwide influence during and after WWII and tell me that they AREN'T imperialist.
Russia used to have an empire, remember?) was badass. I loved this film.
