Review of Red Dawn (1984) by Austin G — 25 Aug 2008
This is a coming-of-age film like you've never seen. "Red Dawn" locks eyes with grief, rage, and pure, red-blooded American heroism. True leaders make decisions no one else will touch with a ten-foot pole, and great movies just say "No" to moral equivalency and political correctness.
Emotive acting, gorgeous scenery, and relatively realistic action make this gloriously patriotic propaganda piece much more than your typical 80s flick.
