Staggeringly awful US propaganda from the right wing übernut John Milius. Thanks a bunch again, John.. The attackers are of course the Russians and the Cubans, the most eeeeeevil people on earth. They wanna come and destroy your money, make you sing the mamushka and puncture your God given American footballs.
I understand that most movies reflect the time they were made in, but this goes far off the deep end. Rambo 2 & 3 were like wet dreams for a US patriot too, but at least they were just silly fun. Red Dawn is obnoxious, naive and plain fear mongering beyond belief. And now there's a remake on the way? How fitting for the political climate.. AGAIN.
