This is exactly what happens when you take an idea with a ton of potential and is very applicable to the times, and then do absolutely nothing with it. The 20% I gave is out of respect to the fans who consider this a guilty pleasure movie.
The character development is non-existant, the script is one of the worst I've seen in a long time. If I were to give a plot synopsis, it would be "Shooting, stuff blows up, people cry, people fight, and repeat til movie is over".
