Review of Red Dawn (1984) by Dathan R — 08 Dec 2012
I saw this after the remake, there were some good parts but the remake was better. I don't mean like the explosions or gun fighting, but the plot, situation, the connection and relationship with the bros, it was better in the remake. and finally all of the faces began to blur together because the camera angles were so weak, I didn't even know which girl had died and there were only two. sorry for spoiler. don't even get me started on the music score. I can usually forgive that if its an old movie but seriously the terminator soundtrack was so great so there can be no excusses. and the blood, omg, again I can forgive, but come on one time it was litterally smoking and not just a little, but enough to look like a red cloud was leaving the man's body.
Like I've said I'm very forgiving for my movies, heck I love older movies, but geeze this one I have no mercy for.
