Well , the first thought is wow. As I understand it, the western release of this movie is two films compressed into one, and at a whopping 147 minutes I still felt it was slightly rushed in places.
An amazing movie, ruined slightly by the badly concieved, mispronounced English explanations over the cut scenes at the beginning (Cao Cao isn't pronounced to rhyme with cow - it is said in movie, in mandarin as SOW SOW). Though it did make me think that dynasty warriors games have a moderate level of accuracy. Well worth watching, even if, like us, you heckle...
