I love my Chinese films. It's not your typical martial arts story, rather huge gory cavalry and naval battles, then strategy, then more battles reminiscent of LotR, mixed with Troy, mixed with 300. It's long, but epic, and avoids sidestepping the main plot to add boring love stories. The production value is huge, it made me wish some of the scenic shots stayed on screen longer.
If you don't mind subtitles, this should be your next film to download...on Netflix...
