Review of Red Beard (1965) by Katrina L — 16 Jun 2007
This movie is one of the greatest films ever made. The film is SO LONG, but it never feels like it. Kurosawa masterfully draws us into the story and constantly keeps it interesting through the dialogue and visuals.
I admit that I've looked at the clock during most long films, but I never took my eyes off of the screen during Red Beard.
