Review of Red Beard (1965) by Patrick B — 04 Apr 2006
Another great morality tale from the master kurosawa, this gritty story is about humanity, and follows a newly qualified doctor, and a hardened veteran. it is engrossing watching, and red beard is a badass, taking out about 9 guys in 1 point, but it's really about how the characters change fom a firm standpoint at the beginning of the film, to where they end up, and the journey they take to get there.
excellent. RECOMMENDED.
