Review of Red Army (2015) by Leo K — 14 Jun 2015
Hockey from the soviet point of view. While I'm not big on the sport, this documentary is a deep reveal on what went on behind the iron curtain. Why the soviets were so damn good at their craft, and what went on with the players.
Couple in with socio-political events from the 70's into the early 2000's, and how they impacted the players. Russia is still one of the most important producers of the worlds best hockey players, and this film shows why.
