Review of RED (2010) by Guido S — 30 Nov 2013

Red boasts a terrific ensemble of veteran actors, and starts out well as a mildly amusing send-up of super spy movies by having it's main characters come out of retirement to protect their own lives, but it does seem to go for too long by the time it's final act approaches.

Nothing in particular about it excels - the action is "okay", the comedy verges on "flat", the on-screen chemistry is "fine".
