It's strange. Never as much fun as the original, everything is just so over-the-top that it is robbed of it's humor. The original reminded us often in very practical ways that these people were old which made Helen Mirren on a machine gun hilarious. This film could almost exist exactly as is with younger characters.
Less chemistry, less inspired writing, forgettable dialogue, and unlike the original, none of the characters seem like a bad-@$$ at any time.
