Red 2 brings back Willis, Mirren, and Malkovich for another round of action. While the first movie has comedic elements regarding the age of the cast, this one seemed to focus on relationship chemistry between Willis and Parker.
As a comedy Red 2 fails to live up to the first one, but still has some solid action scenes. The plot is a bit more convoluted and features too many characters, but still has some moments. Red 2 is a step down as is typical of most sequels.
