Review of Red (1996) by Alex M — 01 Feb 2014
Bruce Willis, Morgan Freeman, Helen Mirren and John Malkovich are amazing as a foursome here. However, I felt Mary-Louise Parker's character was completely unnecessary. All the phone flirting between her and Bruce Willis over the phone would be considered creepy, not cute, in real life.
Not every movie is required to have a love story for the subplot, but there are other movies that have done this in much worse ways. 6/10.
