If you just take out the swearing and the brief nudity, this could have been an episode of Captain Power.
It was definitely shot for the small screen and not the big screen. Just felt cramped to watch.
And why does everyone speak with a slight Montreal accent? Oh right, that's where it was made.
If given a bit more investment in production values, like acting and directing, then it would have been much better.
The effects were passable.
